Contemporary heritage artwork
01
The record
Origin, etymology, linguistic root, distribution and documented symbols — with sources and a confidence level.
02
The direction
One of sixteen art directions is matched to the record, and interpreted specifically for your name.
03
The artwork
An original portrait-format piece, generated from the research rather than decorated with it.
This is the history of a surname, not a family tree. Archival imagery shows the historical world around a name — never a claim about your own ancestors.
